Brand Identity
vingt mars marks the transformation of the Belgian architecture agency Alinea into a multidisciplinary collective, driven by a shared vision of the future. More than a change of name, it represents a shift in stance: the transition from a traditional architecture studio to a group that shapes spaces through dialogue, balance, and long-term thinking.
The name vingt mars refers to the spring equinox, a moment of perfect balance between light and darkness—a symbolic turning point that marks the beginning of a new cycle. It embodies the idea of balance, transition, and collective rhythm. For the team, architecture is not static; it is a living process that connects present decisions to the future ways we will inhabit the world.
Through its naming, visual identity, and launch strategy, the rebranding positions vingt mars as a practice where the future is not merely anticipated, but already shaped in the present.
